It depends on the street, and plenty of Westlake Village residents guess wrong. It determines which building department issues your permit and which inspector comes out, and we confirm it before quoting anything permitted.
Can you work in an occupied estate home without disruption?
That is most of what we do here. Floor protection and surface covering go down before tools come out, work areas get contained so dust does not move through the house, and we schedule around the household rather than the other way round. On larger properties we coordinate with estate managers and household staff directly.
Do you coordinate with our interior designer?
Yes, and it is better for the project when we are brought in early. Reviewing the fixture schedule before framing catches the conflicts that get expensive later — a wall too shallow for a specified thermostatic valve, or a freestanding tub filler with no floor blocking planned.
