Electronic toilets fail in predictable ways when they are installed like ordinary ones. They need a dedicated supply, a shutoff that a person can actually reach, a GFCI receptacle positioned where the manufacturer says, and a rough-in that matches the specific model. Get those right and they are excellent. Get them wrong and you are chasing intermittent faults for years.

A NEOREST or WASHLET install is as much a supply and electrical coordination job as a toilet swap. We handle the plumbing side and flag the electrical requirements early enough for your electrician to rough in the receptacle before the wall closes.

Common problems we get called for
Most electronic-toilet service calls trace back to one of a handful of causes: an undersized or partially closed angle stop starving the fill, a receptacle on a circuit that trips, hard water scaling the internal valve, or a seat that was never seated squarely on its baseplate. Diagnosing which one it is takes minutes when you have seen it before.
Hard water and electronic fixtures
Conejo Valley water is hard, and electronic toilets have small internal passages and solenoid valves that mineral scale reaches before you notice it anywhere else in the house. If you are investing in a NEOREST, it is worth talking about whole-house softening or filtration at the same time — it is the difference between a fixture that lasts and one that gets serviced every year.

Setting a skirted one-piece in a house still under construction. Skirted bowls hide the closet bolts, which means the flange height and the floor build-up have to be right before the bowl goes down — you cannot shim your way out of it afterwards.

Do I need an electrician as well?
Usually yes, if there is no receptacle behind the toilet already. WASHLET and NEOREST units need a grounded GFCI outlet within reach of the cord, positioned per the model's rough-in sheet. We will tell you exactly where it needs to go, and we will coordinate with your electrician so it is roughed in before the wall is closed.
Can a WASHLET go on my existing toilet?
Sometimes. It depends on the bowl shape, the mounting hole spacing and whether there is room for the supply tee and the cord. We will measure before you buy rather than after.
My NEOREST is doing something strange. Can you fix it or does it need TOTO?
We troubleshoot and reset these regularly, and a large share of faults are supply, pressure or power problems on our side of the unit. If the fault is genuinely internal and under warranty, we will tell you so and point you to TOTO's authorized service channel rather than opening it up and voiding the coverage.
